Pen cursor is slow (Windows 7)
« on: January 26, 2010, 03:27:08 AM »
I have a problem with my tablet pen. When I draw a line and move my pen the round cursor is slower than the pen cursor. I made a pic, so you understand perhaps a little bit better what I mean:

My operating system is Windows 7 an my tablet is an Wacom Intuos2. I already tryed to change the misc.ini file but windows won't let me do that  :( It says that I have no access.

Oh and please excuse my bad english....  :P

I also use Win7, but never seen problems like this.

To edit misc.ini just open you favorite file manager in Administrative mode ("Run as administrator"). If you didn't use any file managers (like Total Commander), uninstall SAI and install it to different folder ("D:\software\sai" for example).

Ok, I could change the misc.ini  and also reinstalled SAI in to a new folder but it didn't solve the problem. I don't have the problem when I draw with my mouse. So maybe ther is a problem with my wacom software but I installed the newest version for my tablet. Grrr.... I become so angry  >:(

The driver that came with the tablet doesn't work. It is too old.

I had recenty change it from Windows XP to Windows 7 and I had not faced any problem in any one of them. I think that it become more smother in windows 7.

In Windows 7 you should disable the Ink Services or whatever they're called.

Sounds like simple lag. What else do you have the computer running at the same time, and have you tried rebooting them attempting again?
