Jessica The Dirty Blonde
« on: June 30, 2009, 05:55:01 AM »
I just joined the forum today and decided to post something I attempted to color the other day in Paint Tool SAI.  A friend of mine turned me on to this program and I really like it' though I am still tinkering around with the tools and features.

There is only one thing that bugs me out is the eraser end of my wacom pen will not erase on the screen like it does when I turn it over in photoshop or painter.  Instead it gives me the option to select a tool rather than erase.  Other than that the program in my opinion is solid.  I decided to try my hand at coloring some of my work, so this is basically my first attempt at coloring digitally that is.

great job on the color.

as for the eraser bit, you can change the default for the eraser end in Help/Config : Options : Tablet

in there, I also set up one of my Bamboo pen side buttons to the Hand tool so I can drag the image around (using key shortcuts)

been using Sai for a bit now (though sadly I didn't know about this forum XD)

Doesnt look too bad, but it's slightly too blurry shaded, and the light direction on the body does not match with the lighting and shadows cast on and by the hair.
