Systemax, Celsys, Tinami and Portalgraphics launch CATCON

Systemax, Celsys, Tinami and Portalgraphics have joined forces to launch CATCON, or Computer Art Technology Consortium.

This organisation will supposedly be used to share know-how on technologies that can help artists create better works, reach more people, and all those kinds of typical good stuff and more. The appointed chairman during the first year is SYSTEMAX’s Koji.

Did I read that right? 5 years from now? Seems about right though if Systemax is involved. We haven't gotten any real update since 2008!

According to http://whois.jprs.jp/  catcon.jp is registered to Celsys.

I'll wager it'll be way less than five years. But for now we have a definite "maybe".
