Them lines -3-
« on: December 21, 2012, 11:42:13 PM »
Hey guys!!

I've a question and I can't find the answer anywhere...
On deviantart, there are a lot of tutorials from lineart and stuff, but their lines always begin smooth and end smooth (Link to example: http://ninjakato.deviantart.com/art/Inking-in-Paint-Tool-SAI-tut-174860907)

I use a tablet my own to, but I just can't find it  :'(

Please help me!

The effect is one based on the pressure sensitivity of the pen ... so you need to make sure that your pen is working in this manner.

Also, make sure the tool you are using has a Minimum size set to some low number (in the tool palette). Also, make sure that , in the advanced settings of this same tool palette, that the PRESS box for SIZE is checked. If the settings are set properly, and you still don't get the proper effect, then search the depths of these forums for information on fixing tablet pressure response (if it's a Wacom tablet, open the Wacom Tablet Properties and select Remove All User Preferences;  that can sometimes do the trick).
