Format Problems
« on: July 18, 2012, 01:02:35 AM »
Hey guys and gals!

I have found an issue while using CSP

It seems here that CSP isn't able to open any TIFF, PSD, JPEG files created in other software as ex: PS

This was reported to me by a friend using CSP on Mac, now I have tested it on my Win and I have the very same issue. None of Tiff PS/IllustStudio formatted pages are willing to pop up, Clip telling me that this format isn't supported. (which officially isn't the case, Clip is supposed to open these)

Can anyone confirm this situation further? Offer any solution?

Ooooh ok...

Found it!

This is very important guys.. VERY!

CLIP cannot open anything with CMYK palet... CSP doesn't support CMYK AT ALL.

Well FUCK... lol, this sucks...

Also, the photoshop text layers are raster layers in CSP.
Did you get the same when importing files ?
Sorry for my bad english.

Yup, but this is expected.
Clip handles Text as vector (?), very different from PS.
You will also have issues with exporting Masks, Filter layers and layers on opacity mode to PS
