Well, please don't get too excited... this is coming from their official facebook, yes, but it wouldn't be the first time something like this turned out to NOT be true. I'll believe it when we see it! In the meantime I think we should continue to put the pressure on them via e-mail, twitter, facebook, etc., until they finally release language-switching.

Hi,
I'm thinking about getting the Clip Studio Pro program, but I live in Japan and have no credit card.
I downloaded the English trial version, but to purchase the serial number I need a credit card linked to a Paypal account, which I don't have.
So, I was wondering, if I purchase the Japanese version and simply insert the serial number into the English trial version that I downloaded...would that work?

If not, does anyone know if there's an English translation for the newest Clip Studio Pro version?  I believe it's 1.2.7 now.

i was just wondering, i bought the intuos pro, downloaded the CSP bundle, bummer. it has a 12 month license.
i before this used CSP from japan website bought at 5000 gold. is the 5000 gold a lifetime license or not?

According to this page, a new Clip Studio Paint version 1.2.8 is planned for October 17th, just before Windows 8.1 release.
We will see how many time Celsys will need to release the English version

now that MS5EX is caught up with official CSP, anyone notice any differences that would sway someone in one direction more than the other?

We know that CSP will be updated first, and possibly, more often... but what other advantages/disadvantages might there be between the two products?

I guess none, since they are identical (except the translation).
Same features will exist in both packages.

CSP Jap version has one GREAT advantage over MS5EX and CSP Eng. version - it gives access to a huge materials library, which updates on a daily basis. You can download anything, from new custom brushes to new patterns and 3D models. It`s the one and only reason I`m still using CSP Jap. version, and it's worth it.

I'm going to have to defer to NeroNero for the English release of this one (I couldn't get hold of the latest translator patch)

Here's a basic patch for 1.2.8 (paint application only): CSP-1.2.8_ENG-0.0a.rar
Hopefully NeroNero will have CSP+CS+Extras patched later - I'd recommend waiting for his version as it will be much more complete!

Just installed it and..English translation patches (1.2.3 and 1.2.7) don`t seem to work now. Please, make the translation for 1.2.8!

Yes, that's what usually happens
Check my post above, I've made a quick patch which will allow you to at least paint for now. Hopefully NeroNero will release a much more complete version later on
