Hi, does anyone here know how to sync my clip studio download folder with one on a different machine? Or will I have to redownload everything?

You could copy the folder content from one machine to the other.
That's how I keep my backups. Not time consuming at all.

How can I import Manga Studio 4 EX screentones (.tne files) to CSP? I only care about the screentones (.tne files).
.tne liles are supported on CSP, but how to import them? It seems they are not as easy to import as brushes for example.

- I can't drag and drop .tne files to the CSP materials palette.
- I can't use the "Install materials" in the CILP STUDIO menu, for some unknown reason it never got any location I selected.
- I can't use the "CommicStudio 4.0 material". It only creates a new folder in you material list, but no material is imported.
-  "Rebuild MAterial Database" and "Default material installation" is not done for this purpose either.

Any suggestion?

Use the "ComicStudio 4.0 Material..." option:

Warning, it takes a long time to convert the materials!

I already tried it, and it gave me an error message in the middle of the process.
Later I deleted that new comic studio folder and tried again. It only created empty comic studio folder and subfolders, but no material inside. I haven't seen that process bar anymore when I tried it for the second time -___-

Make sure you're selecting the Settings folder from the Program Files folder (don't use the Settings folder in your My Documents).

Sure, I did it like you said, but this is what I get when I try to install materials:

Some materials are installed as you can see, but not the rest.
Also , it seems they don't stay in the new created folders and subfolders, but the general list, which means it makes the material management impossible to me since every time I classify a group of materials to its sub folder, aaaaaall materials need to load again.

I wish they offered a different material install system...

I'm not sure what's wrong. When I imported them, it created the folders correctly and added all the materials from the "C:\Program Files (x86)\MangaStudio EX 4E\Settings" folder.
Your error message says, "Failed to convert materials and templates" so maybe your materials are corrupted..? Perhaps you could re-install the MangaStudio Computones CD library and try import them again?

And yea.. the current material install system is crap.
If you actually install all of these tones btw, your CSP will take about and extra minute to load, it's so slow

Edit:
From the materials you manage to import, are they creating keywords at all? e.g.

Trev! ^^ Problem solved. Do you know what was wrong? Some .tne files were named in japanese by default. I just renamed them with latin characters and the problem was solved.

Thank you very much for those awesome plugins as well!

Hi trev
I'm new around here, but I have been following this theme for a long ...
wanted to ask if those plugins you mention in your last post are functional (?)
and if that's the case, how to install?
thank you very much for your attention =)

Hiya Roi, yea they're only translated for Win x64 at the moment. Just extract the .dlls into your "C:\Program Files\CELSYS\CLIP STUDIO\CLIP STUDIO PAINT\Plugin\PAINT" folder!
They should then appear in the Filters menu in CSP!

oh that's exactly what I did in the beginning because it seemed obvious,
but as it did not work, I decided to ask here ...
is weird because I use win x64 and my PC works perfectly
maybe the problem is the version of CSP .... I use the version 1.2.3
with the translation you did... by the way, thanks for that : )

well ... I guess that  is only a matter of waiting to be more stable or arrive  more plugins
I'll  be aware of this theme... everything that has related to CSP, is  worth
thank you very much X)

How odd, that's the same setup that I'm using too.
This is what my plugins folder looks like:
