It's the price we pay for consistently updated software. Least we won't run into that many flaws when people update to Windows 8 and OS X Mountain Lion and at the very least if we do, they're fix quickly and efficiently. Unlike some companies...

>:I I'm looking at you Smith Micro.

Well they added the compatibility with illuststudio, some a new layer adjustment for textures. A preview for exporting as jpg, and a layout preview screen when you make a new file. And they're already cracking out the preview for 1.4 due Aug 9th.

Celsys don't play around. XD

Nothing THAT important. Just minor tweaks.

Now if only it was Brush-compatibility with IllustStudio... that would be.. GROUNDSHAKING!

I think you can ,as of this version, import tools (.toc) and .xpg files from IllustStudio to Clip studio pro.
There are still some things left to do until the transition is seamless.
Didn't try it because ,unfortunately, I still don't know Japanese.

Enjoy!

Oh, right!

Just tried it out. And it looks like, idd it is compatible now.
But it's nowhere near to being the same brush... at all.
...

:-[ this is frustrating... so frustrating xD

c'mon Celsys... try better.

Ok, you know what... I take that back!

IS-CSP compatibility is actually groundshaking!
Even if all of my textured brushes are dead, well ok it sucks... but guess this is just something minor i would have to tweak up from inside. Little effort, ... well, one can't have it all I guess.
But all of the pencils and inkers work perfectly!
All of this together with CSP -page templates, border cutters, and balloons... OMG... <3 CSP my TIME SAVIOR!

THIS IS BLOODY AWESOME!

Please tell me some1 is willing to ... busy on... 1.0.3 version -translation???

pwetty PLEASY PLEASE! :3

Me and my Co will love you forevah! <3 (Mainly me, I am the one stuck up on IS :P)

PS:But I would be expecting some patch ups, this version seems VERY BUGGY.

There is nothing wrong with IllustStudio, except document size limit and no 64bit version.
It's capable application which replaced Painter and most of the Photoshop work for me. In fact I have never had such wonderful digital inking tools experience.

I guess CSP is lightyears ahead but it still has no official language translation, which sucks.

keep in mind clip is doing some crazy raster->vectorization behind the scenes, I haven't given the new version a try yet. I am pretty happy with 1.0, and I am without cintiq at the moment   :-[

Just noticed that the Qumarion page has an english version. This makes me wonder if Celsys is just going to translated programs and do sales internationally themselves and not deal with Smith Micro.

Which would make me happy because they have Manga Studio upgrades that still  need translating. >:U
