Clip isn't the problem end. Every time I try to download the 1.0.3 version of the translator I get a bunch of error messages. It also says it's only for windows?

I used Stuffit to extract the files. Worked like a charm on my imac.

There's been issues involving the latest Clip update. Best thing to is wait till Monday when they release 1.1.1 and see if it gets cleared up.

D:
they've completely changed the way materials work too.
all the names/tags/info are stored in xml files now (in a strange directory too .\ProgramData\ - not sure what the xp/mac equivalent would be)

so i'm not sure if i should translate the material section (it might be breaking 1.1.0) OR it could be the 1.1.0 material bugs :D
guess i'll just wait till they release the 1.1.1 today

oh, and for the next translation version, i'll start using .zip archives :3

probably never, i'm skipping the 1.1.0 version as it's quite buggy and broken.

i'm just waiting on CELSYS' 1.1.1 update:

Downloading it :D

EDIT:
Installed it.. and uh.. it looks like you HAVE to have Japanese language locale enabled on first run for the materials to install correctly. Otherwise you get materials with ????? in their names - which is why the materials/brushes break.
Well that sucks. Hm.

EDIT:
Apart from the materials section, everything else seems to be okay:

i'm releasing the language files that i have for 1.1.1, but this is more of a test release!
hardly any of the new features have been translated.
so yea, this is only if you _really_ want to use 1.1.1 and like experimenting :)
back up your CELSYS\CLIPStudioVer1_0_0\ settings etc. etc.

Hey,

I'm using 1.01, I know old. I can't seem to get the english one of 1.03 to work. Is it possible to use my old in 1.01 to work on newer ones like 1.1.1?

hm, i don't think there ever was a 1.01 (?) English patch?
the patches made were for 1.0.0, and then 1.0.3. version 1.1.0 was skipped. the post above has the (experimental) language files for 1.1.1

and no, the English patch versions are specific to the version they were compiled for - they won't work with any other version.

i'll pm you, maybe i can help

edit: Finally got it to work, but it was a pain to do it. XD

arf! i used 7zip to create the archive but i guess it's making non-standard/weird zip archives?
i'll try compress it using WinRAR's zip archiver, that should be a more standard file (i hope!)

Hi everyone. After trying out the trial for a few days, I am about to purchase Clip Studio Paint. However, I'm not exactly sure how the licensing works (license file, serial number, etc). Also, if I buy the program once, can I use it on multiple computers?

When you purchase it the serial number for it appears on your clip account. You register it on your trial or reinstall Clip Studio and add your serial. As for installing it on multiple computers, I think the max is two. If too many computers use the same serial Celsys will ban it.

It does extract successfully with both winrar and 7zip for me.

Thank you for doing the translation!
