Seems like I somehow managed to miss the "all" option somehow yesterday; probably in too much of a rush. Installing the extra materials should (I hope) be a walk in the park now. Thanks!

Oh... I do have a question now. Let's say I go ahead and delete out all the English stuff and restore to the Japanese original so that I can upload all the new materials. After having done that, can I re-English-ize everything? Or is this an either-or situation where if I want the English, I'm simply going to have to just manually sort everything into its correct place in the materials subdirectories?

Yeah, either or :l
I'll try explain how it works.

When you launch CLIP for the first time, it reads the language files in \resources\other. This is where it takes the names for the tools/material categories etc.
The material categories are now in English but the materials no longer match up with the Japanese so get dumped and unsorted into the root.
You need to manually sort them - hence the English Material folder included with the English translation patch.

If CLIP launches at first run with the Japanese language file, everything works correctly (obviously!) but it's in Japanese.
It creates a material database using the Japanese categories - which is the folder I linked before

So yea, if you want to switch between English and Japanese materials - you only need to swap out the "My Docs\CELSYS\CLIPStudioPaintVer1_0_0\Material\"  database folder

The annoying thing about the Materials section, is that you can't just rename the folders like you can with the tools settings (although it appears in the submenus, its grayed out). Maybe they'll implement it in a future update?

I see... what a bummer! Well, having things in English is probably worth the trouble of sorting through, I guess. Thank you for all your help, you've been great.

No problem, you've been great too! (plz. gief me ur Qumarion) :D
If you do decide to organise the materials (it's a chore.. I know) maybe you could share your "My Docs\CELSYS\CLIPStudioPaintVer1_0_0\Material" folder? We could add it to the next English patch!

I think that's what I'm going to do, yes. It might take me a while but I don't have any plans this weekend. I certainly don't mind sharing the folder, although you might have to walk me through it if there's anything special to it, having never done it before.

Does anyone know if Celsys plans to release an English version of Clip Studio Paint?

I don't know if I wanna wade thru all the translation issues otherwise, unless there's a payoff at the end of the road. Is there any way to directly Download CLIP STUDIO PAINT PRO v1.0.3 English Translation v0.6b, the version that you guys currently have translated?

Looks like a VERY cool program; I own Manga Studio EX and am thoroughly impressed with it as an inking tool.

Thanks very much, great site!

You can download translation on the first page of this topic.
Put three files in certain folder and you're done.
Not much of a problem, considering people spent considerable amounts of time providing you with English (and other) translation.
Celsys ,for the time being, doesn't plan to release English version of the CSP.

What are the translation issues?

Hi, I installed this program but for some reason when they ask for the serial and I click the second button to log in my clip account they don't give me any code for some reason anymore, so I can't install the full version. Please, could somebody make me know what the SERIAL is to get the full version?

(PD: tomorrow Sep. 28th 2012 they officially release the Clip Studio Paint Pro version 1.1.0)

Um. No one can really give their serial out because it wont work...  You'll have to buy it like everyone else did.

Just wanted to say HUUUGE thanks to all of you who have done work translating this into English -- this program is a DREAM -- solves every problem I had with Manga Studio & Illuststudio, has a brush engine to DIE for (although I still love you, SAI) It's just MADE for comic-booking. Word balloon creation built in, takes in 3d models, works great with vectors, (you can make EDITABLE watercolor strokes in vector!?)... just amazing. Best part is CLIP honored my Illuststudio license and gave me a free upgrade to use this.

So thanks you guys...this will streamline my process considerably.

Could someone please, PLEASE help me! I paid for the rental version of Clip Studio but had the previous version (1.0) on my PC and used the serial they gave me for that. But last week my computer crashed and I lost my program!

So whenever I go to the clip site to try to download, they give me this message:
it is driving me INSANE because I paid for a serial and now can't use this program. This happens on FF, Chrome, IE and safari on multiple computers and internet connections.

I need to know if anyone else is having this problem while trying to download.

I also would LOVE and COMPLETELY APPRECIATE it if someone could just file share it in a zip file to me or something so that I can use my serial and use it for myself. I'm NOT asking for a free program NOR am I asking for a serial or anything like that. I just need the raw program, so to speak, as this is my program of choice and I can't seem to find another solution.

Please, please, please help me. I will donate a free chibi with a background to anyone who will help me get my CLIP back!

The link don't have the same address, but if you already tried it and it doesn't work ,I cannot help.
Contact CELSYS and ask for help. They are great with their customers.
