I can translate Japanese, but is come programing knowledge required? it looks pretty simple to me, just change the Japanese to English right?  (if someone could provide the necessary files, i can translate, if that's all it takes.)  I also know the files must be the same size.

Thanks digitoonie! Well, there's a TINY chance that they'll keep the same files but only update the .exe.
I doubt it though, that's not the way they did it with clip lab QQ
IllustStudio got upto 1.2.7 (and it might more updates before its discontinuation) so that's quite a wait.

lol Coda, yea your eyes hurt after a while. Really have to concentrate too, 1 digit out and you corrupt the file.

Thats a nice theme actually whitetree! It perfectly separates the 00 hexs! might have to give that a try :D

No ladyyoshiaru, no programming knowledge is needed. Yep, just change the Japanese into English.
And there's no additional files anyone can send you... you already have everything you need!
Maybe you could start with the 3D/Pose section? ;D

The only problem i have, is I dont know where the files would be located. ? I want to translate the tool preferances and eventually everything. If they update alot, i probably will wait till the program is good.. its missing alot. lol

Urr.. it's the files from the first post... they're located in the same place that you extracted them to..?

The update for the english translation added more files to it, so i assume there is even more files. Since I am not very skilled in programing, i only know alittle bit, I have no idea how to identify what needs to be translated.

Alot compared to illuststudio and comicstudio. One thing i noticed, when you size the image, you cant transform anything other then scaleing. No perspective or anything.
You can not also change layer type. And I have no idea if 3d can even be placed inside the program to use. Those are a few of many things they have not added yet.

It didn't add any additional files - it simply replaces the existing (Japanese) files.

Alot compared to illuststudio and comicstudio.

Heh, I'm not sure that's fair - it misses a lot when compared to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Word, Excel and 3ds Max ;p

It definitely has perspective transforms. It sounds like you're doing a Scale (CTRL+T) instead of a Transform (CTRL+SHIFT+T).
Yes, changing Layer Type to Vector isn't possible yet - But on the flipside, you can now actually paint with the brushes IN vector, which is amazing!
You can place 3D objects into the Canvas for editing with drag n drop. It will accept most common 3D file formats (obj lwo fbx etc)

I ment the files to replace, there was more in the second version files to replace.. And i looked at the file using a hex editor. And I see nothing but symbols and stuff..? in the files provided by the opening person.

That's not a good comparison because they're not supposed to be in the program.. Illuststudio comicstudio are supposed to be in it. And its missing stuff from them.

I am seeing nothing but symbols. Nothing i can translate from the provided files from the opening person.

Are these files translated already? Is there more in the program that need to be translated? Can someone find me the file to translate for the tools properties?

Those extra files were the Tool name database and the Material Installer. They are already translated.
The files you need to translate are in the resource folder just like last time.
Also, I am the 'opening person' lol -_-

That's not a good comparison because they're not supposed to be in the program.. Illuststudio comicstudio are supposed to be in it. And its missing stuff from them.

Its actually a very good comparison. CSP-PRO is an entry level paint program. It's competition is SAI, 4th Paint, mdi, openCanvas etc.
Have you noticed that they all have the same price range ~5000 JPY?

Comic Studio is a completely separate application, it's not supposed to be included in CSP-PRO and it never will be!
That's why you have to pay for the very expensive upgrade CSP-EX to get those features.

You have the files that need translating! .'/
I.. I don't know what to.. say.
Y'know what? I give up, GOOD LUCK!

Actually you can make comics in that program.. It just wont have all the comic tools. But its the same price as illuststudio. So i expect it to eventually have all the tools from illuststudio, and the debut' version of comicstudio plus pose studio..
CSP Ex will have comicstudio EX not debut.

About the translation: i opened the resource folder, and the files are a bunch of symbols and random Japanese characters?? Am I missing something. Sorry if Im being a little dense.. Not that good at programing, but i can translate.  I did open with the hex editor.

i found the brush module in about 2 seconds - come on guys, don't read it, just see it.

So when i open this same file, why does it not look like this?? When i open it, there's no Japanese in it.  I have a feeling i'm missing something here..
