Trouble launching IllustStudio

I am getting this error when I start "IllustStudio 1.0" from the desktop shortcut IllustStudio makes. I have already changed the language to japanese.

Did you buy a hard copy of it? Its asking for the illust studio CD...

You've input a retail serial number, IllustStudio is trying to authenticate it with the original installation disc.

Depending on where you obtained your release, you'll need to replace or 'patch' 3 files.

  • IllustStudioInfo.pff

Authentication? I never get that. How odd... Did you pirate it?  And it saw the serial number is someone else's, and maybe asks for the original disk?
