Koji Komatsu answer from emil:
I think lozeta set "Maximum Canvas Size" to very huge size.
If she set "Maximum Canvas Size" to 4200x3000, she will get more memory address space.

On the other hand, she can set /3GB option in boot.ini.

* Why does SAI eat many memory?
SAI focus on Speed and Quality, but does not focus on Reduction for Memory Use.
"Speed" and "Reduction for Memory Use" are the opposite feature.

I remember hungarian proverb:
"I am computer technical, i can work: fast, low price, and best quality. You have 2 choices "

Well, that was really a useful hint, now I can paint large images with 7/8 layers and no problem. :) :) :)
I actually don't understand the meaning of "Maximum Canvas", but that doesn't really matter. In gimp there is an option like that, but it's simply a hint, meaning that you are warned when your image gets bigger than the limit.

So, DroopyEar, I really thank you a lot, and many thanks to Koji from me.

I will try if I will need.

Yes, I know that, I'm a programmer too, in fact I've never said "Why does SAI eat many memory?". But I was surprised to get "memory error" when there was still a lot of free memory available. My question was: "Why doesn't SAI use all the memory available?"

BTW, I am a male  ;D
