License Transfer Issue
« on: September 21, 2011, 05:15:02 AM »
Okay so I bought SAI for my computer, and everything went great! But then that computer broke, and I got a new computer, and transferred the files. The program doesn't recognize this computer as the one that bought SAI (which was to be expected), but I don't know how to transfer the license. Anyone know how?

You must find email from SYSTEMAX with link to license generator.
Than click on link and download new license file.

I having a similar problem as rainbowtunnel. I bought Sai last year, and recently my Computer broke. So I bought a new one. I went back to my emails and found my Softoware License Number, and Certificate Download Password, that was sent to me. However when I tried to download my PaintTool SAI Ver.1 Software License, I get "Error: - Specified License Number is not correct." Do I have to buy a new Software License?

Very strange.

I check it by myself:

1) found email from SYSTEMAX
2) go to https://www.systemax.jp/en/license.html
3) copy "Software License Number" and "Certificate Download Password" from email to page
4) open SAI, Others > System ID, copy System ID from SAI to page (to "Your PC's System ID")
5) click "Download Software License Certificate"

and successfully download new license file.

----

maybe you forgot to enter System ID? or accidentally add space after License Number or password?

I tried multiple times, and I still get error message. My old computer was vista, and new one is Win 7. Could that be the reason?

Don't know.
I have Windows XP intially, than WinXP in virtual machine under Linux, than Win7 on other computer - no problems at all with any windows version.

You ARE using the System Information number from your new install, right?

And your using 'copy' and 'paste' between your email and the Systemax site (and making sure there are no extra spaces?) instead of just typing it in?

Yes, both.

After, trying and trying I officially give up. It looks like I might have to buy a new license. I wish there was someone I could email.
