Yes, it's nice to see someone using SAI for something other than Manga style.  I was thinking  of starting another forum myself for people using SAI in other ways.  Although this forum has been very helpful.  I think SAI has a lot of potential as an art tool for illustration and traditional styles.

Very good inking! Do you use the ink vector layer or just a round brush?

All my works are done in SAI with color adjusting in Photoshop, I know at least another artist that doesn't draw manga with SAI. I honestly can't think of a single reason for this software to be associated with manga, even SAI's homepage doesn't have any cartoons or anything manga related unlike Manga Studio or ComicWorks.

Thanks to all. ;D
I use several layers to ink. the bottom layer is the pencil .you know. The second layer is drawing layer. i use my ink tool wich is a custom
pen tool that it cames with SAI. and then i use a vector layer for objects and poligonal stuff.
i used another vector layer for curves that are dificult to draw. i try 3 or 4 times drawing manually .and if doesn,t work i draw in a vector layer because gives me more control on the stroke. idraw a normal curve with the curve tool and then i control or change the pressure of several "control dots". it is a faster and a very efecctive way to do things like that.

this is an example. The original is from Jscott campbell. ;D

SAI does not mean MANGA. of course. but it´s normal, that japanese people use more SAI than European people for example. I´m came from Spain. and it´s amazing most of people don´t know what is SAI. "sai ...i don´t know, any type of weapon?" XDD
SAI covers all paintting styles .you only have to tweak several brushes.and is very easy to do that.
