Activation for Windows 7
« on: August 03, 2011, 04:50:10 AM »
I've read about fifteen different suggestions for activating the full version on Windows 7. I've already bought it, but I can't get the trial period to end. I'm really confused where to save the license certificate file, and any help would be appreciated!

Hmmm ... very top post in this forum (link below) gives you explicit graphical instructions on where to put the license file and how to get it there.

IF there is something in the linked post that isn't working the way it says it does, let us know and we can go from there.

I followed the instructions and just noticed that (for some unknown reason) the file can be opened in Notepad.

I followed the instructions and just noticed that (for some unknown reason) the file can be opened in Notepad.

You can link notepad to open almost any file really ... but it doesn't do you much good.

So ... the license file is in the SAI folder (the license file being the one ending with .slc) alongside other files like 'sai.exe', right?
And then you start SAI and it's still not working?

IF this is so, I might suggest that you try the licensing again, and double checking your Machine ID when you type it in. If there is a typo when you enter the Machine ID, it won't flag as a problem, it just won't work.

As always, let us know how it's going for you!

I finally got it to work! Apparently there were two different versions on my computer (not really sure how) and I just noticed this. Thanks for all the help!  ;D
