SAI for Mac?

No, SAI is only for Windows.
But I know, there is port of wine for mac's, and you can run SAI using wine.

but there is still no pressure sensitivity support because sai uses its own tablet driver that is not supported by wine (and probably will never be)

You can run SAI on OSX using either parallels or vmware fusion, with tablet pressure working. Yes it works, but the performance isn't just there which is one of the things that make SAI unique. If there is some similar software for Mac, lemme know.

...Wasn't OSX supposed to be "the" platform for artists? huh...

During the 90's yes but not now, Mac is the worse platform, Painter runs worse on OSX, Photoshop CS4 will not be fully compatible with OSX, Opencanvas and SAI don't even and will never have a Mac version. If you're a graphic designer and use Illustrator and Flash a lot then yeah get a Mac.

I contacted Systemax personally asking if there were any plans for mac version.

I've purchased SAI paint tool for windows, but I find it very strange that no
version has been made for Mac. After all, a big portion of the graphic industry
is based on Mac platform. So the question is..
Is there going to be a Mac version in the future? Are there any plans for it?
