Error - Exception Access Violation (almost resolved)

Please help me!!!
Then i run Paint Tool Sai, when i click in ANY combo menu (imagen1), inmediatly crash and show me an error.

i run like admin, even i try in Windows XPsp2 compatibility.

It seems that there is something bad with your windows.
Unfoftunatelly, I don't know any solution except reinstalling windows

There is also possibility that some other program conflicts with SAI.
Maybe antivirus software. Or vice versa - there is virus on your computer, that conflicts with SAI

I've heard about similar problems 2 or 3 times, but for me SAI works everywhere (I tested it on WinXP without service pack, WinXP SP2, WinXP SP3, Vista, Win7 RC, Win7, windows on real computer and windows inside virtual machine. it even works in Linux with wine).

I'm new so forgive me if I'm not supposed to post this on someone else's thread.
I've been having the same problem, but it doesn't happen often. I get a little pop up and it says the same thing.
It shows up when I go to a folder, but it lets me open the file. And then my pressure sensitivity won't work.
I was told that this is a bug that some people have with version 1.1 and it can't be fixed.
I have Windows7 and have a legal license for the program. Anyone know if it really can't be fixed?

EDIT: Sorry i actually have Windows Vista. I also wanted to ask; Will upgrading the service pack (for vista) change anything for SAI?

Hello, I have taken liberty to looking through SAI faq. It is common issue SAI runs this error.

PNG file errors
In Ver.1.1.0, if the PNG reading is failed this cause access violation error(EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION), this problem occur when the file viewer creating thumbnails. We recognize this is bug so we will fix it in next release of SAI. In current version's solution to avoid these problem is separate these (reading failed) PNG files from the file viewer's displaying folder.

I set view from Thumbnail to Detail so error will go away.

Well, that doesn't work for me. Whenever I try to open a file that has said error, doesn't matter if I'm using the file viewer or not, or if I change between "thumbnail" and "detail", it just says "File Not Exist". Would someone please help me.
