Whichever you feel works best. Whenever I do lineart I just use simple circle, and these setting with my Stabilizer set to 15.
However, tip on smoother lineart - draw at higher resolution, something over 200dpi with a canvas over 2000px wide&tall. It makes the lines smoother when it come to downsizing for web resolution.

Click Weight, play with Size

Your tool's edge hardness may be too high for tool
go under advanced setting
try using some of these setting or play around with them

Sai does not have a way to drag and drop new files into canvas when the documents are maximize size so follow this steps:
- Open both documents )
- Click this button (http://i.imgur.com/fePcR3K.png) to have both documents seen
- Take the file layer you want (if many layers, group them into folder) then drag and drop into the other document
- Move eyes to where you want
TIP: Hold CTRL (CMD) and press arrow key to move around more accurately

Hello, I have taken liberty to looking through SAI faq. It is common issue SAI runs this error.

PNG file errors
In Ver.1.1.0, if the PNG reading is failed this cause access violation error(EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION), this problem occur when the file viewer creating thumbnails. We recognize this is bug so we will fix it in next release of SAI. In current version's solution to avoid these problem is separate these (reading failed) PNG files from the file viewer's displaying folder.
