General / Re: CLIP STUDIO PAINT Translation
« on: December 07, 2012, 12:39:38 PM »
Is Manga Studio 5 really the same as Clip Studio Paint? I've asked someone on Deviantart (who founded the group for it) and they said that it isn't; that Clip Studio Paint is 3 programs in one - Comic Studio, Illustudio and Posestudio.

The user guides are going to be really useful, if they really are so similar. I still think I should learn Japanese just to be able to use this kind of program and buy it directly from Celsys, since the updates from SmithMicro are so slow...

Nope, the fan made translation is free to download!

Oh, my...

Absolutely! Definitely, I agree!

I now admire you just for suggesting it. :3

Can it be Darjeeling? I developed a taste for Darjeeling...

Mou, not on purpose, I assure you. ;_;

WTH!!!

(maybe they're going to add it later on?)

Doing some adjustments to the translation system, and preparing next version of the translation tool.

Good going!

Thanks for the continuous job on this. :3

General / Re: IllustStudio by Celsys and all you need to get it running!

Thank you so much! Very useful!

*hugs*

:P

Edit: if you don't want to translate the clipstudio fields: insert Screenname, e-mail, re-insert e-mail, Character input verification.

Thank you very much! :3

I'm sure it will be useful to anyone who will find about this in the future.

As I said, it would be a good idea to edit the first page to put all the useful informarion there, so that people don't have to dig through 11 pages of thread..

Nope, it won't, don't worry. :3
The trial is completely free.

12
If that happened, could we still buy it directly from Celsys?

13
Awesome, thanks for the translating job!

It would be a good idea to edit the first post to list informations such as the price and the steps to take to buy it and use the translation, in my opinion - especially since this thread is becoming quite long. Anyway, I'll try the trial as soon as I can, so I'll be able to make my decision.

Even if this is less powerful than Photoshop, it's also much less expensive! 5980 yen aren't that much, for this kind of program, isn't it something like a thousand more than Sai?

Could there be a way to perhaps demonstrate to the creators of 4th Paint has many interested people in it?
I don't like to think they ignored your mails, but maybe if we found a way to get someone who speaks enough Japanese to create a model mail to request an English version and get anyone who wants it to send it in they could consider it?

General Discussion / Utau (free Vocaloid-like program)

http://utau2008.web.fc2.com/index.html

The Japanese seem to love creating programs that we'd love if only they weren't in moonspeak... :P
Anyway, thought I'd mention it here, maybe someone would be interested in the translation of it. :3

Apparently this thing can also be used to sample voices and create a new character, too.
