if i open the clip studio app, not the paint application.  it downloads materials or something to a designated folder.  so do i have like a gig of random materials now?  is there sone way to control this feature or find out what exactly it downloaded.   can anyone basically just tell me how this aspect of the program works?

ok thanks a lot i had apparently held on to a few drivers from the past and after installing one from back in september of last year the tremoring seems to have gone away.  ( the icons still messed a little but that may be because i replaced sai's with one i made myself lol resource hacker)
also thanks for letting me know about that alternative tablet driver i cant say for sure ill use either as everything seems alright for now but its good to have options.

just wondering i guess, i just installed a newer one for my intuos a month ago maybe now when i hold my hand straight on a point, say in the navigator, its moving around like i have a tremor hand or something.  and also no i notice sometimes the icon for the app doesnt show up correctly under the tablet properties as it had maybe 2 drivers ago.

Quote from: Otokonokotron on February 07, 2015, 04:27:48 AMis there a reason why it doesnt start up after i click the exe after i extract the files?I had a similar issue with the first development build of SAI 2 and still do with the newer releases, but back then it actually presented an error message. I don't know the exact cause, but when I have the driver for my drawing tablet installed, SAI 2 only launches correctly if my tablet is connected to my PC prior to launching SAI 2.

Of course, we may not be experiencing the same issue, but I figured it was still worth mentioning.
yup that solved it thanks a bunch

SAI General / Re: Possible to hack the Brush/Texture limit in Sai?
« on: May 13, 2014, 03:24:45 AM »
siiigh, ya not that i know of.  and only being able to have up to 64 pixels per brush shape (you know when u can make ur own with that crosshair lookin thing) is kinda difficult too.

What i would do, is id just make make folders seperately to categorize all ur textures, so u can just swap them in and out when u feel like it.

(also theres supposed to be a new updated 'Sai2' coming so that might change some things for the better)

SAI 2 / Re: Paint Tool SAI 2.0 available for download

wow.  i really cannot be any happier for the scrollbar in the part of the user interface that has the color and brush setings, etc.  it was so annoying having to close tools sections to reach the bottom part XD

One of the biggest reasons i like sai though is because u can use pattern brushes on large scale without the program lagging really bad.

haha this brings me back to my gaming days XD  Sega had an mmo called Phantasy Star Universe on the xbox 360, the english servers got stuff sometimes months after their debuts on the Japanese one.

yeah, i'd say it'd be best to stick with Celsys, and u guys here who have been translating it have been doing a wonderful job of it, and it's much nicer in my opinion to have you guys practically at an arms reach when it comes to questions and things ;p    >w<)b

hey, is there a way export materials?  i have some textures that i made, and im trying to figure out if u can export them like u can tools/brushes.  also if brushes need a certain texture to work, wouldnt that mess them up if u imported it back in without the texture present in the materials?

Of course you can, bind your wacom eraser to keystroke or modifier in wacom tablet preferences .
Then ,in CSP, go to File - Shortcut Keys- Tools,  find your particular eraser and assign a keystroke or modifier that you previously assigned to wacom eraser.  Done!
thank u very much, hadnt thought of that ^^

sigh, i think, after reading through everything here, that we are best of sticking the japanese version (that u guyz all keep translating anyways), as it will always be the most current and cared for by celsys. weird stuf happens and corners seem to get cut whenever they make a english version.
