Is it possible somehow to use the official English translation with a Japanese serial somehow? I'm grateful for the fan translation but using it can be frustrating. I've tried to e-mail them a few times to convert my key to English version but they refuse to, and I hate having to buy it again especially as I supported them early on and struggled through the only version available.   :(

It looks like 742DEA58-ED6B-4402-BC11-20DFC6D08040 is the file which triggers the Japanese key not working. Everything else in the English install works?

This is probably old news to people here.

I installed official English version, and then replaced 742DEA58-ED6B-4402-BC11-20DFC6D08040 from the fan translation to the English folder for it, and it works. If you delete the CELSYS folder from Documents and then open CSP fresh it will give you all English tools too, which is nice. Only thing that is missing is the actual language in the program's menus. For example, things that bother me are such menu option as "Integrated images and export" instead of what it should be "Export (Single Layer)"

Basic tests seem to work but there may still be issues somewhere.

If anyone has an idea on what to edit in the official 742DEA58-ED6B-4402-BC11-20DFC6D08040 to make it work with JP license that would be best...

Looks like license verification wants to still check against English license. So it will only work until it wants to verify again... not sure what triggers that. Requires to install JP version again again, verify, then switch back to EN.

I wish they would just let us use an English version and support it properly. I personally don't want to buy any more software by CELSYS because of how stubborn they are at punishing the people who have gone through the hoops to support them financially and marketed for them within English world. :'(

Any idea why this pops up every time I launch the program?

Am I reading this wrong? It costs $170 USD to upgrade from CLIP STUDIO PAINT PRO to CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX for the download version?

CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX = Manga Studio 5 EX?

I would much rather buy directly, but they are charging less to upgrade ($99) and the upgrade process is actually in English. Though their speed for doing updates is bad.

Did they ever fix the ridiculous speed slow down when having more than a few pages in a book?

Did they fix the speed issues when creating multiple pages over a set amount?

Also, congrats on improving the site's look, though maybe wood texture isn't the best background. Maybe pick something from http://subtlepatterns.com/

I'm still going to use and pay for the upgrade to EX for the Japanese version. I hope translation continues.

Really want to try out EX! I seem to have not saved the Pro serial when I purchased. And can't figure out where to recover it from if possible... tried looking around on the site. I can see that I made the purchase in the history but can't find the serial? Also, searching in regedit for SP1HJP doesn't show anything, Clip Studio nothing related. I do have 1.1.1 installed and registered.

It seems to get slower with adding pages the more pages I add? Even with the rest of of the pages closed. Painting doesn't slow down at all, only the time needed to create a new page goes up? Yeah, when you only have 3 pages it's near instant. Getting up to 50 pages it can take a few seconds to add another page... this need polish. I couldn't find out how to have it create x pages instead of one at a time. Each page is in memory when it is loaded and needs to be closed to removed out of memory. I think I prefer the way comic studio does it by enforcing only one page open at a time... I hope this is fixed/optimized before full release!

It does extract successfully with both winrar and 7zip for me.

Thank you for doing the translation!
