Hi all! It's been a year since last time I had the chance to draw for job reasons and I'm very surprised about all program changes since then!
I can see the website Clip Assets (downloadable materials gallery), tutorials, faq section, gold section, etc... IN ENGLISH as well (?) although you can't buy materials that cost clippys yet for some unknown reason, only free materials or those that cost golds appear in the english gallery.

I'm wondering if we could get access to the official english version so we wouldn't need to make/download english patchs with some annoying scripts errors that happen every time I open several clip studio menu sections.

Anyone has a better idea about what's going on with this program lately please? I'd be glad to get any update  :)

Hi, first of all, sorry for asking this question on this thread but not so many people visit the "Clip Studio Modeler" thread so I'm wondering if someone with 3D modelling knowledge around here knows how to answer this question:

I'm a newie at modeling and used Autodesk Maya to create a 3D desktop. I rigged all the drawers, keyboard tray and door to limit their movements from Maya successfully, but when I open the 3D model from Clip Studio Paint, all the moving parts move freely (door, tray and drawers) -__- so I can't submit this model on Clip Studio website yet.
Do I need to buy the Clip Studio Modeler license to sort this problem out or isn't it necessary? I've also seen on clip-studio website that some modellers use Lightwave. I have that program in my PC but I don't know how to rig these objects from that program yet.

(in the image below I moved 4 moving objects on purpose from CSP so you can see that rigged limits were not preserved with CSP. On the other hand movement limits for these moving objects were preserved in Autodesk Maya properly)

Hi guys! May I ask where is found the folder in order to make your own back up about all downloaded/edited material (brushes, 3D, etc).

I rename or clasify my brushes and everytime I have to format my pc I always lose everything... -___-

Help!
How can I download all materials I've bought from the official website? I'm know you need to use the new Cloud system but I don't have any clue about how to use it. Sometimes it doesn't even work, it says that the script doesn't work...

To gain clippy you should share some original material, in this page: https://assets.clip-studio.com/ja-jp/manage/

When users buy your original uploads, they use clippy to pay you.

Sometimes Celsys does campaigns to let you gain some clippy. So check periodic Celsys emails or notifications or news.
I remember you could get clippy points before when tagging on other people's work (5 clippys per vote), so that option is not available anymore? Unfair, there are some materials I'm interested in but can't get clippys this way, I don't know how I could create brushes or 3D objects :'(

Hi all!

I used to buy CLIPPY points by voting/tagging any material submission, but now, since all the material gallery system changed, I have no clue about how to get CLIPPY points to buy some brushes, the only information i got when I clicked on "Obtain Clippy" option was this link, but I don't understand how to get them anyway. Any clue?

Hello, does this error happen to you as well?

There is a new CLOUD option in the Clip Studio main menu where you can recover all your celsys downloaded materials from.
After completing the synchronization progress, when I click on the button "Works" (on top), there is an error message and all the application closes, nothing can be load properly,I can't see or re-download the materials I dowloaded/pruchased from Celsys.

Anybody knows how to fix this bug please? It's really important to me.

Thanks!

I tried to download it from 1.4.1 version, this is why you managed to do it successfully and I couldn't do it.

Wow, now to be able to download free material from CLIP Studio menu, they force you to update all the software to the japanese 1.5.1 version:

"この素材をダウンロードするにはアップデートが必要です。
最新のアップデータはこちら"

So sad, because THEY charge you even MORE money for an english CSP version that is NOT updated like the japanese one and they don't either offer the same SOFTWARE or RIGHTS, since they don't allow you to join the OFFICIAL materials community where CELSYS and other artists sell and/or post their materials because overseas version has no "CLIP STUDIO" starter menu included in the program... and again, overseas CSP version is more expensive than the Japanese one.

Also, I'd like to point out that I wrote them not so long ago about some user's material I bought and downloaded because it couldn't load from my CSP (the rest of other user's and official material loads properly).

They replied that they are sorry but I'm not allowed to use the japanese materials because they are not available for the overseas CSP version.

I just found that reply very rude because the fact that I'm writing in english is not an actual reason to assume that I didn't buy the japanese license. I already showed them a screenshot from their website about my license number and serial but they insisted asking me for more screenshots about the program I have installed and my version.

I stopped replying because I found their attitude very rude and unnecessary... it's like... "dude, just go and check my account details and activity by yourselves in your data base before assuming and replying to me, so you can see if I have the japanese version or not, but don't mistrust me just because I can't speak japanese when making a question about why this material I paid for doesn't work". Why should I even keep proving them with more screenshots if I bought the japanese license or not after attaching them my license information? They can perfectly check all the activity they need from me  by themselves in their data base.

I'm just displeased about their way of doing things regarding overseas version and their behaviour with foreigners because I'm pretty sure that if I only wrote them in japanese they wouldn't have objected anything and they would just replied to my question straight away.

Sometimes this kind of things make me wonder if supporting them with my money is worth it no more and look for new software alternatives.

After someone purchases a program license, we all should have the right to get access to the same program software like CLIP STUDIO starter menu and materials from OFFICIAL website, despite your nationality, but welp... shit happens and they can do whatever they want to anyway... eventually, WE are, as costumers, the ones who decide to support them or not with our money. Still I found it really shameful, in my oppinion.

Hi there!

I formated my PC and when trying to recover all my bough/downloaded materials from Clip website.
I'm wondering how I can download them all automatically at once, because they are so many of them and this Clip Studio menu application is so slow and freezes easily... and downloading them all one by one is a major pain...

It seems there is a program called CLIP Downloader which allows you to download a list of materials, but when opening it, I got the following "Please start from CLIP site" error message and then this program suddenly closes. Honestly, I don't know how to open it from the CLIP site at all...

*** More instructions about CLIP Downloader: here and here

(If someone is wondering how you can find this downloaded-material list, this is they way you can find them all, but I'm just wondering how I could install all my already-downloaded material at once):
